Windows Doors - Our aging building needs new windows and doors to help us retain the comfort provided by our new heating & cooling systems and maximize our budget $$. If you can help us establish partnerships with area suppliers or lend a hand in demo or construction, give us a call!

 

Covered Dugouts— Our thanks goes out to ball coach Diane Lebrecque for applying for and receiving a grant from Bell Canada which will be used to construct and install roof structures over the dugouts.

 

Diane is a long time volunteer with Moose Creek Minor Ball and we appreciate her initiative in going out and finding this opportunity!!

DONE DEALS!!

 

Fire Alarm System— in partnership with the Township of North Stormont, a new first-warning fire alarm system has been installed in the hall.

 

Sunshine Club Renovations— the Township has also been instrumental in  the renovations and repairs to the Sunshine Club. A severe flood put our hall in jeopardy of closing but a solid plan for rebuild was executed and the Club is beautiful!

 

Our thanks to Ronnie Montcalm of 1st General Services for personally managing the project. Ronnie is a great Rec supporter and we were glad to have his expertise on board for this one.

 

Portable Defibrillator—thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Frank Cowan Foundation we have received a portable defibrillator. These units have been distributed free of charge to rural event venues to help save lives in the event of emergency.

 

Air Conditioner—we have been talking about and planning this project for a long time. Finally, the Moose Creek Hall is air conditioned!! Give us a call to book your summer events!!

 

New Roof—last winter’s overabundance of snow pushed the roof to it’s limits making it a priority on our list. Thanks to  the Township a contract is now in place to replace both the north and south sides.
